Soul Midwives Scotland

Making Plans in Advance

Making plans towards the end of life brings peace of mind – and helps us to focus on what’s really important to us.
Pathway - Soul Midwives Scotland

One friend (the description Soul Midwives use for those they work with) explains how a Soul Midwife was able to support the process.

I’ve always lived independently so need to feel organised – aware of time marching on, then a few illnesses followed by COVID further focussed my priority.

I’d already written three different Wills as circumstances changed, then understood there’s a whole lot more to this whole process as I went along.

I didn’t know who to ask and TRUST until I came across Soul Midwifery – and my Soul Midwife.

Our initial face to face meeting immediately established confidence in her, and her willingness to take time to go through her fantastic Peace of Mind materials and use for reference was invaluable.

We had some Zoom Calls, sent copious e mails as we worked together through current legislation and the process.

My Soul Midwife’s sensitivity to my need when and how to pace myself, address chunks then let life take over for another chunk of time, encouraged me to persevere. ..especially with the legal stuff.

I would never have (more/ less) completed such an emotionally challenging journey without my Soul Midwife. She now knows more of my private thoughts and feelings in such a respectfully gentle way.

I feel relieved to be able to make the most of the rest of my life now.
